Useful Information
You can get the conference venue in same day, if your flight arrives at Tokyo Narita Airport before 4:00 PM. Otherwise, you may stay a hotel near Narita airport and have a travel to yamagata in next day. In this case, you may make a train reservation from Narita Airport to Kaminoyama right after arrival of your flight at Narita Airport.

If your flight arrives at Tokyo Haneda Airport before 5:00 PM, you may get the conference venue in same day.

In Japan, public transportations would be crowded around August 15. We recommend that you can stay in Tokyo(near Narita airport or Haneda airport) if you have enough time before the conference like that your flight arrives on August 16 at Narita airport.

You may choose a direct flight to Sendai from your country. You generally get the conference venue in 2 hours. Sendai airport has international flights from Seoul(Korea), Dalian(China), Beijing(China), Shanghai(China), Changchun(China), Taipei(Taiwan). You need check the date of flight except for a flight from Seoul(Korea).

You may choose a flight from your country to Chubu(Nagoya). You can connect the flight from Chubu(Nagoya) to Sendai.

Some flights from Narita airport to Sendai (one of the nearest town to Kaminoyama) and from Haneda to Yamagata. Flight schedule operated by ANA is as follows.

Kaminoyama City in Yamagata is one of the famous "Onsen" cities in Japan. Onsen means hot spring in Japaese and provides a lot of types of Spa. Then, after getting Narita Airport, please get the train "Narita express" operated by JR (Japan Railway Company) for Tokyo. After that, changing the Tohoku Shinkansen Train named "Tsubasa Super Express", you can arrive at Kaminoyama Onsen Station about nearly 2.5 hours.

You take a flight from your country to Tokyo Haneda (HND) airport. Then, you take a mono-rail to Hamamatsu-cho station. Change the train at Hamamatsu-cho for Tokyo station. The train is operated by JR (Japan Railway Company). After that, changing the Tohoku/Yamagata Shinkansen Train named "Tsubasa Super Express Train" operated by JR (Japan Railway Company), you can arrive at Kaminoyama Onsen Station about nearly 2.5 hours.
